Iron Maiden started as a punk band in the late 70s/early 80s (look it up if you don't believe me), before they crossed over to metal. This record was recorded in Japan 1981, right after Killers was released.. Holy shit is this record out of control. Di'Anno still on vocals, mad drum solos, epic riffage, and all around badass-ery.
