Porno Beach - Shit Demo CD
I was in Australia for a month.. sorry for not updating. Hopefully that gave you time to reconsider the post below, and you decided to ruin your life entirely. Anyway, while on my travels, I was stuck with some health food fanatics, lost 20lbs (was asked by a close friend if I was on a 7 day crack binge), hadn't smoked real weed in over a week, and obviously- felt like total shit. I was passed out in the car, listening to No Justice, and sat up to either drink some water or roll the windows up to keep the rain out.. can't really remember. BUT, what I doremember, was seeing a tall big dude in his early 20s wearing a fucking NAILS shirt. Holy shit was I stoked. NO ONE in Australia on the 15 Hours of East Coast I had covered, seemed to dig anything hard.. at all. I was so stoked, to the point where I made myself get outta the car, and literally blurted out"DUDE! FUCKING NAILS!". The dude's name was James, and was there with his friends Casey & Zac. They were going out for a surf.. but we went back and forth about good music for at least a half hour.. (I ramble when Im stoked). Zac told me he was in a band, and in his exact words "Yeah, we suck and cant really play our instruments.." my instant reaction, was pure joy.. something finally that was truly shitty. Im sick of hearing super talented musicians attempt to make shit music. It still sounds good.. its second nature. Their band's called Porno Beach, and theyre fucking rad. I dont think they suck, I think they rule.. total shitty awesomeness.
